I am an author of young adult fiction, who primarily loves to mix genres, explore outside boundaries, and see where my many creative endeavors take me. I'm disabled, so my creative pursuits are my favorite escape. I enjoy painting, photography, graphic design, jewelry making, and the occasional crochet project. I spend most of my time living on a mountain of pillows in my bedroom, cuddling my cat, Pineapple (AKA "Naps"), writing my way into other places, and experimenting with creative photography. I'm a strong believer in finding joy in every circumstance, dancing in the rain, and looking for the positive.

Finding Joy In Creativity
I’ve learned a lot of things since receiving my diagnosis for EDS, but the main one is this: joy isn’t about circumstances. It’s not something you magically find when your life is perfect and everything is going your way. Brief moments like those might be filled with happiness, but joy isn’t dependent on circumstances. It’s not about what your life does or doesn’t look like. Joy is something you put effort into; it’s a mindset and a resolve to look for the good and beautiful regardless of what life has dished out. My joy comes from my love of creativity, from seeking out the small blessings in my life, and from my Lord. Where does yours come from?
